Digital Media Product Manager Solarflare Communications
We are looking for a dynamic individual who understands the digital media market and knows technology. This person will be a product manager focusing on the digital media market and driving success for Solarflare's 10G Ethernet server adapter products.Solarflare is the fastest growing player in the 10G market. We offer the highest performance 10G server adapters in the industry for Mac OS, Linux and Windows systems. Our products are widely used in gaming, high frequency trading, academic and scientific computing and other high performance applications.
Solarflare is looking for the right person to take our products and technology into the digital media market and establish a leadership position for our products. This person will have a deep understanding of the technology needs of the digital media market (particularly computer networking). This person will be able to identify and engage key customers, define product requirements, and act as product champion for our sales team. Additionally, this person will engage strategic partners that are key to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify target customers and ecosystem partners for Solarflare products in digital media market.
Define technical requirements for networking in digital media market.
Create and execute customer engagement plans, including sales collateral, competitive analysis, promotions, etc.
Coordinate and support selling strategies with Solarflare sales team.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is sales-focused, responsive, creative, strategic, proactive, and hands on, with the ability to work with all levels of management.
5+ years product marketing experience in technology (computer networking products experience preferred).
B.S. or B.A. degree.
