As part of the Traveler Services Business Unit at Concur, the Direct Marketing Associate will be an integral part of a small marketing team responsible for acquiring, engaging and upselling customers. This includes:
Engagement and retention marketing for TripIt and TripIt Pro (premium service)
Upsell TripIt users
Work closely with ad sales team to ensure timely deployment of client ads
Acquisition, engagement, and retention for TripIt for Teams (B2B)
Acquisition, engagement, and retention marketing for new consumer products e.g. ExpenseIt
This position will support the Direct Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing. You?ll be helping drive results and customer engagement and satisfaction across our portfolio of products. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Coordinate, test (across all mobile devices), broadcast and deploy all email campaigns
Act as a liaison to internal stakeholders regarding email marketing campaigns
Provide QA and perform a final test before deployment on all emails for web browser and email client compatibility, as well as ensure all links, images, subject lines and list segments are correct
Track and provide detailed analysis of email marketing campaigns using email reports and Google Analytics
Support Direct Marketing Manager with execution of test plans to optimize email campaigns
1- 2 years email marketing and B2C experience
Desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a lean team and willingness to pitch in on special projects as necessary
Experience with ExactTarget or any other email marketing software provider
Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Some design skills would be awesome but not required
SQL knowledge would also rock, but not required
Strong attention to detail with attention to follow-through while being highly organized and efficient with time management skills
Basic knowledge of salesforce
Be able to work with teams cross-functionally and manage outside vendors
Sense of humor and a passion for traveling
BA or BS required
