We?ll need you to work closely with our brilliant copywriters and translate their winning copy into visuals that drive response. At the same time, you?ll be working with our amazing marketing managers to ensure that these messages get out on time. You?ll be counted upon to use your experience and judgment to assist in large over-arching marketing campaigns, as well as handling small requests and projects that require a quick turnaround. What you?ll be doing:
Creating fantastic ads, emails, landing pages, videos, and other marketing materials that beat the pants off of our controls.
Working directly with our team of copywriters and marketing managers to produce awesome marketing collateral in a timely fashion.
Bringing new ideas and innovations to the table, based on sound research, best practices, and measurable tests.
Producing and expanding existing campaigns, while maintaining the core creative.
Being compelling, persuasive, and generating subscription revenue.
What you need to bring to the table:
Excellent persuasive design skills and professional design esthetic.
Ability to hand-code, standards-compliant HTML and CSS.
Absolute proficiency with Adobe's Creative Suite and standard design software.
Understanding of browser compatibility issues, web design constraints, and email deliverability.
Keep cool under pressure, and turn projects around in a pinch.
Meticulously detail oriented (even the smallest mistakes cost us big bucks!).
Talent to generate creative ideas in a highly-interactive environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
Excel in a team environment and be able to communicate clearly with your peers.
It?d be sweet if you have these:
Formal design training.
Familiarity with basic concepts of investing and finances.
Familiarity with direct response marketing.
Experience with Flash and ActionScript.
Happy hour skills.
Education and Experience
BA/BFA (or equivalent experience) in graphic design/commercial art.
4+ years related professional experience in design and marketing.
Personal URL/Portfolio required.
