The main goal of the Direct Sales representative is to sell BidPal's solutions into new and emerging markets. The Direct Sales representatives will be part of a dedicated direct distribution channel for BidPal and will be at the forefront of the rapid of expansion of the company into new areas as well as new product lines.
The essential job functions for the person in this role include:
Selling BidPal's solutions to non-profit organizations in targeted markets
Growing BidPal's revenue and market share by calling on and presenting to prospects over the phone and online
Continuously drive to exceed quota in assigned markets
Building BidPal's stellar brand for enhancing fundraising events in new identified target markets
Responding in a timely manner to web and phone inquiries.
Presenting and upselling new BidPal solutions to existing client base.
Creating and maintaining client relationships and fostering new growth through referrals
Providing temporary sales coverage for markets in transition
Appropriately documenting the sales process to ensure smooth transition to Event team
Effectively manage pipeline of orders/quotes
Attend external prospecting events, seminars/conferences and corporate trainings
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
Self-motivated; ability to manage and work independently
Strong ability to prospect and cold call on potential sales opportunities
2 + years of selling experience, preferably in a telesales environment
Creative personality with strong problem solving skills
Exceptional collaborative and communication skills
Willingness to occasionally travel to BidPal events
Exceptional relationship management skills
Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
