The Director of Account Management, based in our Emeryville, CA headquarters, will be responsible for a global team that services our brand and media agency clients. The account management team is integral to the performance of TubeMogul - they communicate directly with our clients and ensure the objectives of every video advertising campaign is met or exceeded. The team is currently 10+ people and will double in headcount this year. This role is for someone with extensive client services expertise and a track record of mentoring and managing whip-smart associates.Responsibilities
Ensure that clients and partners are well-served, expectations are exceeded and results are delivered
Grow revenue through excellent service and development of capable and motivated team members with strong client empathy
Establish, maintain and enforce smart business processes and controls to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Recruit and hire ?A-players? that are a good fit for the organization
Inspire, motivate, train and advocate for teams
Maintain and cultivate fun and customer-centric culture
Mastery of TubeMogul offerings and technology
Work closely with Executive team and provide strong leadership across the organization
Measure results, publish results, influence change, iterate
Requirements
Deep understanding of media agency needs and proven ability to service demanding clients
6+ years of experience in related advertising environments and 3+ years of experience managing and growing teams of 10+ in a fast paced, media environment
Business acumen, paired with an interest and knack for technology
Proven ability to lead, mentor, motivate talented ad ops professionals
Experience in high-growth and evolving organizations
Strong decision-making, organization and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and negotiation skills
Jedi-knight like communication skills
A numbers junkie, media math wizard
Fun and personable
Bachelor?s degree. (Master?s degree preferred).
