Director - Account Management Shazam

Shazam is seeking a Leader for our Account Management team. This position reports to the EVP of Global Advertising Sales. Account Management serves as the face of Shazam for TV to the client; communicating known issues, evaluating performance, improving education, driving repeat business, and recommending the best strategies to deliver on our clients objectives. The right leader will need to help us develop our team further and establish a world-class customer service paradigm; to blaze new trails and guide top global brands into the era of Second Screen marketing. Shazam is the undisputed leader in Second Screen, providing advertisers unparalleled opportunities to connect with consumers and extend television campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in digital advertising and marketing with an understanding of the TV advertising landscape, along with a proven ability to establish and build senior level client relationships. Candidates must have a curiosity for product and technology and enjoy working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Operations, and Engineering.
Leader Responsibilities
Establish and manage a world class Account management team
Collaborate with ops, product, engineering and sales to design the processes and strategies to support our ever-growing client list.
Manage 3rd party partners, working closely with them to execute on programs
Account Management responsibilities
Act as principal liaison between the client and Shazam?s internal teams
Support clients throughout the post-sale process by actively participating in client meetings, navigating and influencing agencies and advertisers, and guiding clients through creation and execution of the best second screen experience imaginable
Manage the ideation, creative process, execution, and reporting of Shazam for TV campaigns
Understand brand strategy and be able to articulate Shazam?s positioning within that strategy
Upsell existing clients on new products and features, driving renewal business to meet revenue targets
Work closely with Shazam Operations teams to manage the campaign implementation process
Optimize SFTV campaigns based on creative performance
Optimize Media campaigns based on click thru performance
Requirements
Proven leadership and a minimum of 2+ years of managing an Account Management team in the digital media sales industry - agency, online advertising and marketing experience preferred
Dynamic, flexible, hard-working, and highly organized
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and comfortable engaging in communication on any level with the ability to clearly articulate creative decisions
Best in class project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and deliver timely work
Ability to think high-level about product strategy and vision
Ability to understand data and use that data to ?tell a story? to a client
Passionate about ensuring world-class customer service and delighting clients
Ability to take advantage of leadership opportunities
Strong sense of team building
