You must have prior success selling advertising or technology services to the top executives of large corporations and agencies, in a competitive market where your price was not the lowest. You are excellent at qualifying and closing new opportunities over a long complex sales cycle. Most importantly, you can demonstrate that you are outstanding at prospecting and finding new opportunities.
You should be a highly motivated self-starter who has a track record of overachievement and one who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Experience with web or mobile advertising, agencies, or web technology is required. You must be willing to travel regionally.
Requirements
- Prior proven success generating revenue through building, maintaining, and growing strategic agency and client partnerships.
- Ability to educate clients on the current web and mobile landscape by keeping up to date on industry trends.
- Mastery of media or technology sales and processes in the digital or emerging media industry, as well as, a proven record of accomplishment, and solid reputation.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, rapidly-changing entrepreneurial environment.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills required.
