Job Overview
Cardlytics' rewards solution allows merchants to target customers based on what they actually purchase. For the first time, Retailers can target individual customers based on where and how they spend money. Targeted offers are placed directly on customers? online banking pages; one of the most trusted and widely used, yet least penetrated, consumer channels.
The Cardlytics rewards solution reaches over 75 million households with more than 11 billion transactions per year. The Director, Behavior Modeling will develop forecasting models to accurately predict retailer performance and future spend behaviors while coaching and mentoring a team of modelers and analysts.
Job Responsibilities
Utilize the necessary analytical tools to:
Produce models that describe relationships between geography and past consumer purchase behavior to predict future spend behaviors
Understand drivers for retailer campaign performance and determine their influence in retailer performance
Develop detailed forecasting model(s) to accurately predict retailer performance at the consumer level
Coach and mentor a team of modelers and analysts and deliver business results through the team
Work with Operations and Development to transition models analytical environment to production environments
Contribute to the enhancement of all analytical methodologies
Produce analytical models with the goal of developing products for both internal and external audiences/li>
Qualifications
Work Experience
7+ years of work experience, building statistical models and forecasts
Experience with multivariate testing
Segmentation analysis and customer profiling
Building predictive statistical models
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results in a simple and concise manner
Proven ability to support strategic and tactical business decisions based on statistical and quantitative analysis

Technical Skills
Proficient in the use of SAS, R, SPSS or other leading statistical software

Skilled in statistical testing techniques (ANOVA, ANCOVA, T-Test, etc)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Marketing Research or similar
Graduate degree a plus
