As a key member of the Lumension marketing team, the Director of Brand and Interactive Marketing develops, implements and supports the organization?s interactive marketing platforms intended to drive revenue generation and strengthen organizational reputation. He/she leads efforts responsible for the development and management of digital & mobile strategies and online brand experience with particular focus on supporting corporate marketing and communications goals.
Responsible for implementing digital strategy for effective delivery of editorial content, documentation, presentations and other content packaging; developing original creative design concepts, and ensuring consistent brand standards throughout all communications. The Director of Brand and Interactive Marketing is responsible for the management of all online properties, including the corporate website, corporate blog, landing pages, as well as measuring results in order to drive continual optimization.
This role will also consult on intranet development and strategy, user interface design in collaboration with internal communications team and user experience group. He/she will also serve as the marketing function strategist in Internet and intranet content, functionality and measurement of online effectiveness. The Director needs a high degree of initiative, hands on executional ability, and advanced interpersonal skills in order to succeed in a matrixed organization and fast paced culture.
Plan, manage, design and execute all strategic and tactical changes across five online properties.
Design and deploy our mobile brand experience, while ensuring synchronous content syndication throughout all marketing executions.
Drive and deliver development of our on-demand software demonstrations that sync talking head video with live-action screen captures, with additional enhancements and development for navigation and contextual lead gen offers.
Support the execution of our webcast and virtual events.
Design and develop online advertising and retargeting executions.
Support and optimize lead generation materials, landing pages and campaigns
Oversee and manage event design to create physical and virtual tradeshow exhibits, and annual corporate events.
Support numerous requests for presentation enhancements, documentation support and whitepaper layout and packaging.
Oversee video production for webcasts, online demos and corporate communications efforts (live action / motion graphics)
Direct all phases of creative work from concept through production and responsible for working with external creative partners and ensuring projects are completed.
Manage a small creative staff, as well as helping to review staff members? performance
Accountable for developing and directing creative work of the highest caliber with their team
Participate in many new business development efforts, leading creative teams and in nurturing new digital strategies.
Adobe Creative Suite RequiredMS Office: Demonstrated experience in MSWord & Powerpoint.
Demonstrated experience InDesign
Proficiency in Dreamweaver (web code editing software)
Basic proficiency in After Effects and/or Premiere
Demonstrated experience with Illustrator
Basic familiarity with Camtasia a plus
Expertise in Web design and development, including an understanding of multiple content delivery systems and programming methodologies required.
Experience in Designing for print (small and large format)
Proficiency in optimizing graphics for web
Demonstrated and advanced proficiency in HTML
Demonstrated proficiency in CSS (style sheets for web design)
Basic proficiency in Flash development helpful, but not required
Demonstrated proficiency with Content Management Systems ? Kentico a plus but not required. Some understanding of PHP & Wordpress highly desired.
Basic proficiency in Audio and video editing
Demonstrated proficiency in encoding video for web
Knowledge of marketing practices involving Internet and intranet, mobile platforms, social media, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM), online advertising, e-marketing, e-mail marketing, banner advertising, online affiliate marketing, and Web measurement analytics considered a major benefit.
Ability to work individually or as a team member and interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Basic analytical ability needed to develop and evaluate plans and strategies.
Excellent project management skills, with the organizational ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time.
Detail oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem-solving ability.
Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital media, creative development, or website design and management, preferably in a private or agency setting.
Technical multi-media and web-related project management experience is required.
Employee management experience is desired but not required
Background with intranet development and management and multi-media proficiency strongly preferred.
A BS/BA with an emphasis in graphic design.
