Director, Business Analyst New Orleans Exchange
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Position Summary:
This position will develop business and functional specifications for enhancements to the trading platform and manage release rollouts. The primary objective will be to thoroughly support business and technology platform needs on an expedited basis in order to increase the velocity of platform release cycles. The position is a Director level position reporting to the Vice President, Head of Product Management.
Lead requirements gathering (user voice, use case and ?as is/to be? documentation) and develop specifications including work/process flows, narrative descriptions, and user interface designs for trading platform enhancements
Test platform product concepts with stakeholders, including external customers, to validate design integrity and usability
Work with the Technology team to produce implementation details
Assist with integration efforts for enterprise partnerships to facilitate automation of receivables posting and trading
Communicate between the Technology team and business unit leader to manage issue resolution and provide continuous feedback loops to all respective parties
Participate in internal and external testing and training efforts for new system releases
Draft and finalize customer communication and instructional materials for platform releases
Manage existing products by analyzing traffic patterns, interviewing stakeholders and assisting in vendor relationship management
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of business analyst or product management experience in the financial services industry. The candidate must have successfully managed the complete lifecycle of multiple innovative technology projects including requirements gathering, product specification, business case development, testing, implementation, customer communication, usage tracking and issue
Strong experience with taking complex high-level concepts and developing them into detailed specifications, user interface designs, business cases, conceptual tests, rollout plans, and usage tracking.
Very strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skill set
Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a high pressure, agile development environment
Experience in working with remote engineering teams
Excellent written, interface design and verbal skills
MBA or master?s degree in related field preferred
Location and Travel:
This a full-time position based in New Orleans. Infrequent travel will be required to New York and California.
