Giftango, a fast growing worldwide leader in developing and delivering digital prepaid sales and promotions technology via web, mobile, and social media technologies, is in search of a Director, Business Development to help us grow our Digital Channel Distribution.
We are expanding our team and this ?Elephant Hunter? role will be responsible for prospecting, acquiring and managing strategic channels of distribution brands in the incentive loyalty, financial, online and mobile verticals that want to leverage leading our digital gateway to the the largest digital portfolio of prepaid products.

Core responsibilities of the Director, Business Development include:
Identifying and prospecting for new Digital Channels through our existing partner base, personal contact networks, industry associations, and conferences.
Consulting with prospective clients to understand their challenges, goals and requirements related to the sales, promotion, use, and delivery of digital prepaid services.
Recommending, communicating and demonstrating the appropriate Giftango products and services based on client needs.
Negotiating and closing win-win agreements and ensuring successful client launches.
Owning the client relationship with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying and growing product penetration and overall revenue growth.
Basic qualifications include:
Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years of relevant sales or business development experience in B2B sales.
Prior experience selling technology related products and services in a complex selling environment.
Experience working with salesforce automation and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.).
Proven track record of success closing multi-million dollar deals as an individual contributor.
Bachelor?s degree and 40-50% travel required.
An MBA or experience selling retail, payments, gift card, or mobile technologies.
The ideal candidate will be consultative, creative, and a strong communicator with the ability to build exceptional relationships and grow business.

A successful track record of developing, managing, and growing revenue producing partners, a strong business acumen, and excellent analytical skills.
