Outbrain is seeking a motivated, business development executive to lead the expansion of Outbrains content recommendation technology and traffic acquisition programs to premiere Spanish language digital publishers in North, South and Latin America. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and have experience selling to major Spanish language news and content sites both domestically and in Canada, Latin America and South America. Outbrains proven recommendation technology is being used by many of the top English language publishers both here and abroad, as the same technologies are now ready for Spanish language sites.
As with any Outbrain employee, we're looking for someone who is resourceful, bright, proactive, a go-getter, works well independently and as part of a team, and who will be passionate about what she or he does. For this position we are looking for a strong deal professional with the ability to identify, source and structure partnerships in the interest of furthering key company strategic initiatives. Experience working with the digital departments of large Spanish publishers such as newspapers, magazines, media companies and/or large blogs and blog networks a plus. Travel estimated at 30, with most activity occurring within the USA in year one. We provide a casual, fun corporate culture. Responsibilities:
Deal focused individual, who consistently meets and exceeds quarterly distribution and sales goals.
Secure strategic level relationships with leading Spanish digital publishers.
Liaise with existing sales, account management and product teams.
Qualifications:
Think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally. Possess a strong desire to win and a competitive drive to overcome hurdles and objections.
3+ years of digital Spanish language sales experience, mobile a plus.
Fluent in business Spanish, Portuguese a plus.
Contacts with domestic, Spanish language digital publishers (media, newspaper, magazine) decision makers a plus.
Strong analytical skills to monitor, converse with clients and to identify trends in data and in generated reports.
