We are seeking a high?energy, revenue?driven individual to enhance and expand our existing OEM relationship with IBM as well as develop emerging partner relationships. We have established a strong foothold with IBM?s Information Management organization, so it?s now time to hire a business development director to drive the relationship and revenue within Information Management and expand our reach into other business units within IBM, including Security, Global Services and IBM?s newly announced Cloud Business Unit. In addition to the IBM relationship, Vormetric has early?stage business development activity underway with other leading global systems organizations. This activity needs to be qualified, prioritized and driven to successful conclusion.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, high-energy, hands-on, revenue-focused business development leader to expand our already successful OEM relationship with IBM and develop other strategic partners. This person will be responsible for developing account penetration strategies to win business with leading global go-to-market partners.
This position reports directly to the VP of Global Sales.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Direct experience driving business development with leading global systems organizations (IBM, HP, EMC, SAP)
Successful track record driving OEM business within a multi-channel sales organization including direct end-user enterprise reps and traditional distributor and VAR channels
Strong track record of revenue accountability and revenue growth
Clear understanding of how to develop and drive business in large, complex business partners
Sales/marketing orientation, with an understanding of the security market
Success in both growing existing OEM relationships and finding new opportunities and use cases within existing OEMs
Experience in structuring sophisticated transactions customized to meet specific OEM needs
Working knowledge of IBM Corporation, IBM Information Management, Global Services and Security Services a plus
