Position Overview:
As the Director of Campaign Performance Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of campaign analysts and managers with the singular goal of ensuring healthy, relevant fulfillment of client Pay Per Click (PPC) and Facebook programs. You will be working hand-in-hand with our Client Relations, Taxonomy, Engineering and Business Development teams to deliver tangible results for our clients and ensure tight cross-functional coordination.
The ideal candidate will be a customer focused, results oriented, highly-analytical individual able to excel in fast-paced dynamic environments. Additionally, the candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit to help motivate, embrace, and lead change in the fast-paced online advertising industry. Ultimately, you must foster a can-do culture and create a vibrant in-house community where everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage the performance optimize of our clients' diversified online marketing and paid search campaigns
Provide routine updates on portfolio-wide and campaign-level KPI trends
Develop optimization plans based on client and program goals
Balance managerial responsibilities with hands-on analytical projects when workloads necessitate
Lead, train, develop and manage a team of Campaign Managers
Build and maintain strong long-term operational relationships with internal teams
Act as resident Search Marketing expert and share learning, trends and coaching to internal teams
Respond and implement various subject matter expert and performance-based actions based on internal analysis and external research
Requirements & Experience:
2+ years' experience developing, QAing, managing, and optimizing multiple paid search/SEM/PPC/diversified media products and campaigns, including competitive analysis, keywords, ad copy, and landing pages
2+ years' experience leading, and managing an Operational team required.
Interactive marketing and online media industry experience working with or for Tier-1 search engine platforms and their technologies (Google, Yahoo/Bing, Ask)
Proven intermediate abilities within Excel (manipulating large spreadsheets)
and Power Point
Ability to analyze, interpret, extrapolate and communicate client program and portfolio performance, trends and issues.
Proven ability to think-outside-the-box for rapidly learning, absorbing, implementing, solving and communicating strategies within industry's constantly evolving landscape
1+ years' experience using 3rd party SEM/SEO tools and/or bid management/optimization platforms, preferred
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and statistical skills combined with academic study in a technical or quantitative discipline is highly desired Google AdWords Certification desired (Certification will be required after hire)
