As the Director of Client Services, you will develop and streamline Kontera?s account management function. Responsible for the strategic and day to day of key client accounts spanning all of Kontera?s product offerings, your primary role as a ?player/coach? will be to supervise, hire, train and lead your account management team to serve as the first point of contact for the client and lead cross-functional teams consisting of creative, trafficking, technical and other production professionals to deliver various media-programs on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading a successful and proactive account management team with a track record of sustained growth across accounts and account managers. You will enhance and standardize account management practices across verticals and accounts and make the Kontera AM team an exceptional organization. You will be expected to develop the account management team and create opportunities for advancement for the team throughout the company and will be perceived as a senior escalation point and thought partner both internally and externally.
Experience managing account teams for an adtech company.
Experience leading, mentoring and managing a team of account managers of all levels.Capable of understanding the Company?s interest and balancing client goals and requests.
Monitor account management team capacity and capability.
Reengineer processes to improve team performance and create or recommend new tools to showcase campaign and account performance. Operational insights from the data.
Experience with multiple digital media targeting capabilities (contextual, behavioral, audience) across multiple platforms (web, mobile) a plus.
Knowledge of or experience with AdOps/Trafficking a plus.
Experience working cross-functionally and in particular with Sales.
Self-motivated to dig in to learn about products, technology, customers, and competitors.
A good multi-tasker, able to handle multiple projects, people and to meet deadlines with revolving priorities.
Excellent attention to detail; oral and written (email) communication; skills in time-management and patience.
Job Duties Include:
Take ownership and accountability for your team?s day to day campaign performance and reporting analysis working with a separate Trafficking team for launch and optimizations.
Liaison with Account Managers, Kontera Sales Management, Sales people, Custom Solutions, Publisher Relations and Trafficking.
Lead and manage AM team; answer client-initiated questions and monitor tracking of team metrics and quality of customer experiences; hire, train, review performance of individuals on the team.
Manage the campaign launching process including client kick off call, strategy recommendation, asset collection, design specs, copy writing and logins.
Oversee quality of campaign set-up and ongoing performance against client objectives, client service and contact. Work closely with the Trafficking team to fix any issues. Recommend upsell where appropriate.
Scope, prepare and present client Campaign and Account Reviews to summarize results and insights; best practice recommendations for next campaigns. Join Sales in field for existing and new business as Best Practices advisor.
Represent the Account Management team nationally to interface with Product to set requirements for In-Text capabilities, reporting, UIs, etc. QA as needed. Develop and roll out new processes and products to Account Management team nationally.
Attend industry events when opportunity arises.
