Job Description:
The Director, Customer Solutions ? DLX Automotive has responsibility for selling Datalogix?s industry-leading automotive products to OEMs and their ad agencies in the Midwest and on the East Coast. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships and providing support to the channel partners that said OEMs and agencies choose to work with ? Trading Desks, Demand Side Platforms, Ad Networks, Portals, Publishers, and other such partners You will leverage and build on Datalogix?s unique assets, capabilities and business relationships, which include an exclusive multi-year partnership with RL Polk, the leader in automotive data. In this role, you will report to the GM, DLX Automotive. You will have a competitive base salary, uncapped upside, and equity ownership. This role will be located in or near Detroit office and will involve travel.
Primary responsibilities include:
Becoming an expert in and evangelist for Datalogix?s unique capabilities
Prioritizing existing and new opportunities across the Automotive landscape, delivering revenue goals for a set of clients, and growing current customers? business
Selling solutions that deliver lasting value for our clients
Creating and managing client and agency relationships through all stages of the sales funnel
Managing the coordination of an integrated go-to-market process, including indirect sales, (through channel partners)direct sales (through clients and agencies), as well as sales on DLX Network
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of delivering complex cutting-edge digital marketing solutions in the automotive industry
Strong network of automotive industry contacts at clients, agencies and other key industry players
Sound knowledge of digital advertising landscape with an emphasis on audience targeting
A formal, disciplined sales methodology including a comprehensive account map
Strong written, verbal and analytical skills
A consultative approach with ability to navigate through complex customer organizations and win over C-level/VP decision makers
A results-oriented, roll-up-the-sleeves approach with desire to do whatever it takes to exceed customer expectations and accomplish goals.
A proven track record of sales achievement in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
Experience working remotely as part of a geographically-distributed sales team preferred
