About the Job

The Director, Corporate Marketing is responsible for developing and executing new strategies and plans to drive market visibility, generate growing demand and achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience successfully working with Marketing and Sales management to identify key business needs; translating them into aggressive, actionable marketing plans that include creative and effective traditional and digital tactics for demand-gen and awareness programs; effectively championing and communicating plans within the organization; and managing an array of internal/external marketing resources to implement and execute plans within time and budget.
This professional will be resourceful, high-energy, positive, creative, and driven to obtain measurable results.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quantifiably contribute to general Nexant and specific Marketing (Company, Solutions, Products, Business Unit) performance milestones and business success in area(s) of responsibility (geography, segment, etc.)
Increase awareness and demand of Nexant products and services in area(s) of responsibility by planning, communicating, managing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns and tactics including (but not limited to) events (tradeshows, Online, seminars, communications, webinars, etc.) outbound and nurture campaigns, internal communications, media articles, etc. in coordination with Sales and Marketing Directors.
Manage teams, projects and vendors within budget, time to achieve high quality and ROI
Measure, manage to and communicate KPIs to executive management and global business leaders
Other marketing requirements as required.
Accomplished marketing director with 15+ years of marketing experience managing a variety of marketing functions and disciplines; the last 10+ of those years in the enterprise software industry
Bachelors degree, preferably in a marketing or related field; master?s degree or MBA a plus.
Strategic thinker to help define corporate direction combined with desire and track record of hands-on program execution
Strong operational skills to drive quantifiable results
Experience and skill in building, organizing, managing, mentoring and motivating teams
Hands-on experience leveraging and managing state-of-the art marketing processes and systems, including marketing automation, CRM and marketing operations management systems.
Innovator with excellent change management skills
Experience developing and managing a variety of marketing tactics
Excellent interpersonal, communication, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills
