Position Description
The Director, Creative Design is responsible for directing the creative efforts of Newegg, including web and print advertisement designs, etc; this position will manage the design team with local and oversea management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provides creative direction on all design work handled by web/print designers.
Ensure deadlines are met for all web design projects.
Set and maintain standards for web design quality.
Set creative guidelines for internal and external use and align with Newegg?s direction and message for visual brand.
Provide web design related training to the new team members.
Must keep up-to-date on the latest design trends, technologies, and applications.

Qualifications:
BA/BFA, Bachelor?s degree in Design and Marketing, Communications or Advertising.
5+ years in commercial web and print design
3+ years in design team management
Knowledge of marketing and technical writing
Understanding of typography and its application in web design
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
Abilities Required
Ability to hand code HTML and CSS
Identify and correct cross-browser display issues such as IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, OSX, Safari, Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7
Must be artistic, creative and imaginative
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
