Channel Marketing Director
Position Summary
The Director of CRM Marketing will have ownership and responsibility for building and driving CRM programs across our network of sites, with a heavy emphasis on RetailMeNot, to increase customer engagement, retention, loyalty and lifetime value. The Director of CRM will oversee our Email and Social marketing channels as well as the management of our online community.
Responsibilities:
--Leverage retail CRM best practices to drive improvements to customer engagement and retention; turn visitors into members, members into repeat users and repeat users into loyal users.
--Evolve WSM's CRM strategy, approach and success metrics.
--Establish goals for growth and development of CRM programs. Adjust the programs to meet the goals; evolve the goals as the CRM evolves.
--Own operational execution of current CRM initiatives, including defining and overseeing budgets, targets and operations.
--Develop and manage a test and scale plan to drive continuous improvement in our retention programs.
--Develop and implement segmentation programs to improve email marketing performance; collaborate with merchandising to ensure offer relevancy for each segment.
--Develop and implement our contact strategy across customer touchpoints.
--Collaborate with internal partners (Brand Marketing, Product, Tech and Operations) to identify loyalty programs to serve and retain our best customers.
--Collaborate with internal teams (Brand Marketing, Product, Operations, Tech) to ensure a quality user experience and to identify ways to better personalize the site experience and outbound communications (email, social, etc.).
--Collaborate with Product to grow and enhance our online community and increase participation and engagement.
Required Skills, Experience and Education
--Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Math or another quantitative field; MBA in marketing strongly preferred.
--10+ years of CRM marketing experience, including 5+ years of retail and/or e-commerce experience.
--Demonstrated success leading CRM marketing initiatives that have resulted in measurable lifts in customer retention and lifetime value.
--Demonstrated success at designing, launching and optimizing sophisticated multi-channel direct marketing campaigns.
--Experience evaluating, selecting and implementing CRM and analytics technologies and platforms.
--Strong presentation and communication skills.
--Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
--Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
--Demonstrated ability to lead a small, nimble team.
--Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic, and fast paced environment.
--Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships.
--Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects.
--Natural aptitude for analytical driven decision making, with expert Excel and cohort analysis skills and extensive experience with web analytics packages.
--Driven, enthusiastic, highly analytical, creative with meticulous attention to detail
