Represent E2open during the sales cycle as the subject matter expert on Rapid Planning (what-if/scenario planning), supporting supply chain processes (such as Supply Planning, Demand/Supply Matching, CTP/ATP, DRP, Fulfillment, etc.) and how they map to E2open solution offerings. Must be able to represent both technical and business level topics.
Manage the solution selling aspect of the overall sales process in support of the E2open sales and business development teams.
Drive an ad hoc discussion with IT and supply chain customer representatives to understand their business and technical issues and pique their interest to engage in further discussions with E2open.
Conduct an assessment to understand the customers' business requirements, establish E2open-based value propositions and gain customer acceptance of a compelling business case/ROI
Gather customer requirements and define an E2open solution that meets their needs.
Develop materials needed to support E2open solution sales efforts, including PowerPoint presentations, proposed solution design documents, and assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs providing specialist technical content.
Deliver demonstrations of software solutions to prospects.
Define messaging around E2open solution offerings to position of the solutions within marketplace.
Work with E2open Product Management to understand the market requirements and opportunity, and then define the strategy and direction for individual E2open products, solutions and the associated road-map.
Represent E2open and E2open solutions as thought leaders at industry events, trade shows, and user groups.
Educate E2open customers, partners, industry analysts and prospects on E2open and the E2open solution offerings.
Attend trade events, and write for trade journals and other media publications.
7+ years work experience
Minimum of 4 year degree in Advanced Planning Software (JDA/i2/Manugistics, Oracle, SAP, ICON, Kinaxis etc.)
Deep dive knowledge on Optimization techniques such as LP, IP, MILP, etc.
Deep dive knowledge on Planning Heuristics techniques such as Order-By-Order, Depth-first, Breadth-fast, etc.
Significant experience in technical pre-sales, and/or deployment of enterprise software solutions in a technical role, including a proven ability to document and present ideas and work product to customers and gain their acceptance.
Detailed knowledge of enterprise software and the software business, including proven experience with integrating 3rd party products with SAP, Oracle and other ERP systems, as well as supporting and maintaining enterprise software under strict SLA requirements
Understanding of operational aspects of providing a SaaS solution, including hardware and software requirements
Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Advanced Mathematics, etc. preferred
