Upland is looking for a talented individual to be responsible for managing the Customer Success team across its cloud-based product line. Combining account management, sales and overall client satisfaction responsibilities, this position is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to join a growing company.
The Director of Customer Success will be reporting to the VP, Customer success located in Laval, Quebec. The responsibility entails managing a team of Customer success Managers who will be responsible to drive customer adoption, success, renewals as well as growing the solution usage across a defined set of customers.
Develop trusted relationships with decision makers in each account, understand their strategic goals, and develop plans to partner on these goals.
Responsible to implement new services focused around increasing customer adoption and success
Responsible for the management of the overall company cloud and subscription contract renewals
Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and retention targets
Develop and attain goals to meet or exceed assigned renewal and upgrade rates.
Streamline the systems and processes to deliver customer success most efficiently.
Work with the Customer Success team to define, maintain and leverage account health indicators. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders on progress against established goals
Manage account escalations
Ensure that customers are leveraging the Upland Software solutions to deliver business value across all levels of their organization
Develop and execute on quarterly strategic account and customer success plans.
Grow overall customer value and product usage within each account.
Engage in co-marketing activities with strategic accounts, develop an expansion strategy and generate referral leads for the Upland Software sales team
Facilitate the development of a vertical industry community of like Marketing Cloud customers, routinely sharing best practices and leveraging lessons learned;
Provide coordination of internal resources that interact with each customer.
5 or more years of consulting experience at an enterprise software or top tier management consulting firm.
7-10 years of relevant work experience ideally with demonstrable strategic enterprise account management or management consulting experience;
Strong presentation skills and credibility with Director and C-level executives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in fast paced, results-oriented environment.
Management experience within sales or services function for an enterprise software company is a plus.
25% travel to events and customer locations is required.
