Director, Demand Generation Hearsay Labs

Hearsay Social is seeking a marketing professional to lead our demand generation efforts, including outbound lead generation through digital, event, and direct marketing programs.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Demand Generation will lead a team responsible for online programs and physical events. The perfect candidate has proficiency to optimize program spend, develop and execute lead generation programs with marketing automation, and measure results. You will own end-to-end demand generation strategy and execution across a broad range of stakeholders from executives, field sales, alliances and customer success. And most importantly, you will have a passion for results to impact the company.
Create and execute the demand generation plan by target segments
Define goals and metrics for all demand generation programs, including lead nurturing campaigns, digital marketing programs, and sponsored and field events
Generate qualified sales leads using a mix of marketing programs, activities, and events
Act as a collaborative partner with a proven global enterprise sales team
Track, measure, analyze, and improve ROI by campaign to drive investment decisions and marketing effectiveness
Negotiate with vendors and manage the marketing campaign budget
Desired Skills & Experience
Proven track record of prioritizing and delivering demand generation results within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
Passion for and understanding of social media
7-10 years experience in demand generation and marketing programs for a B2B technology company
Proven experience with a variety of demand generation programs (e.g., outbound marketing, events, lead nurturing, etc.)
Creativity to build innovative programs that engage prospects and optimize marketing dollars
Ability to lead and communicate effectiveness of marketing campaigns to senior executives and provide recommendations for pipeline growth
Strong background of generating pipeline with Sales vs. just leads
Experience with Marketo, Salesforce and related technologies
