Director, Demand Generation
Good Technology is looking for a highly experienced Director of Demand Generation to drive all demand generation efforts and lead nurturing. This individual will be responsible for developing highly effective inbound and outbound demand generation programs across all channels and key market verticals to drive pipeline growth. This is a hands-on role that will give you enormous opportunity to impact the top line of an exciting company in a fast-growing market.
The right candidate thrives on the metrics and processes of B2B marketing. He/She understands how to optimize marketing programs spend, test and optimize lead nurturing programs, manage marketing operations, develop marketing campaigns and measure leads to closed opportunities. As a leader, you will work closely with the Sales, Product Marketing and Marketing Communication teams to increase pipeline and revenue growth. Success will be measured by conversion to opportunity with the goal of driving new customer acquisition, as well as existing customer cross-sell/up-sell.
Fully own and be accountable for the company's demand generation and lead nurturing programs delivering leads to Sales per agreed upon targets.
Work closely with product marketing and sales leadership to prioritize marketing campaigns by target audience and key message
Develop unique, compelling content -- such as webinars, slideshares, white papers, and infographics -- that will be of value to prospective customers.
Execute inbound and outbound campaigns using tactics such as webinars, content syndication, list rentals, social media, SEM/Remarketing, etc,
Track effectiveness of each demand generation campaign/channel, and make pro-active recommendations to continually improve demand generation
Manage marketing metrics and ROI analysis and regularly present metrics on marketing revenue performance management
Manage and optimize lead scoring models
Maintain internal calendar(s) of all programs, budgets, etc. and communicate widely across company, as appropriate
Manage team of program managers in planning & execution
10+ years of successful global inbound and outbound demand generation program creation, execution, measurement, analysis and reporting
Excellent writing/copy editing skills and a strong eye for visual design and attention to detail.
Hands on bias -- loves owning demand generation campaigns from beginning to end.
Quantitative mindset to measure and analyze the success of every demand generation program.
Highly knowledgeable of CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce.com, Eloqua and the integration between the two.
Comfortable with a fast, iterative approach to marketing -- willing to ship something fast, get feedback on it, and improve upon it later.
High energy, creative, team oriented leader with ability to work collaboratively at all levels
BA, BS or higher in marketing, communications, business or related field
