The Director, Digital Ad Sales, New York is a critical role to develop and close digital ad sales deals with media buying agencies for premium brands. This role entails, selling multi-screen, rich media, video and display ads and manage a team of up-to 4 ad sales executives. The position will report to the VP.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of digital ad sales experience, selling online and/or mobile display, video and/or rich media.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Extensive contacts and existing relationships with leading media buying agencies.
Ability to communicate and develop relationships with media planners and buyers at all levels.
Tactically manage and help the NY media sales team, close deals
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Charismatic, with excellent presentation skills.
Killer instinct and an appetite to be part of a highly motivated team and company, that is on the cusp of big growth.
Must be a rainmaker

Has been in a startup or fast growing business before.
Has impeccable references from prior sales positions held.
Live in or around New York.
