As Director of Engineering for Mule ESB, you will have complete engineering ownership and oversight of the development and delivery of official Mule community and enterprise software releases. Your software will be consumed by 100,000's of developers and thousands of companies that use and rely on Mule ESB every day. In addition, you will play a strategic role in interfacing with customers and building relationships at the technical team and management level.

To be successful, you must be an incredible manager, leader, recruiter, and agile coach. But wait, there's more! We also expect you to be technically brilliant. You always have an opinion on a software architecture, design, or best practice and can communicate it constructively and articulately to teammates and management. You are not afraid to get into the bits and provide code reviews, test implementations of Mule, and assess proper behavior of existing code.
You excel at designing systems supported by rapid, agile development. Constructive feedback from a customer or community user â€" figure out how we make the next iteration even better. You also grok distributed systems architecture and know how to build a system that supports the highest levels of scale and throughput and intimately know and understand the latest open source technologies, their tradeoffs, and the correct patterns to apply in enterprise integration.
Qualifications- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, visiting our development offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina as well as customers and speaking at conferences
