This Director, Enterprise Sales will be responsible for building a pipeline and securing market leading direct advertiser relationships for Audience Products. This will include direct efforts and working with the existing Account Executive team and directors as a specialist around direct brand use of Audience Suite (DMP). The main target is direct brands from CMO to their analytic and media buying groups. This may involved their agencies where applicable as well. It is expected that a good portion of opportunities will come from the existing Account Executives so this role involved strategic training and prospecting plans with those team members in building overall revenue for Audience Suite and building direct brand relationships.
This Sales Director will work very closely with existing AE team, and work collaboratively with Client Services, Solutions Engineering and Business Development teams to close strategic accounts and deliver Turn license fee revenue. This is a key role in expanding direct client revenue and providing market feedback for ongoing product enhancements. As an integral part of the Sales team, this role will be responsible for educating advertisers about the value of Turn?s products, providing face to face demonstrations of the Turn audience suite solution and making recommendations how they can best be leveraged to achieve specific client goals and objectives.
Self-starter capable of thriving in a growth stage company environment.
Past enterprise level sales experience; technical or analytic sales experience required.
Ability to develop a well thought out territory plan that will achieve revenue goals, new client acquisition targets and MBO targets. This includes planning with the relevant Account Executive in that region.
Strong consultative sales skills, relationship building, external and internal customer satisfaction management.
Strong understanding of internet advertising technologies.
Ability to partner with Client Services team and other internal groups to provide the best customer experience for our clients.
Demonstrated track record of success in developing direct advertisers relationships and wining new business.
Minimum of 7 years selling online advertising solutions, digital media, online analytics.
Open to similar analytics and data warehousing experience from other industry disciplines where this is combined with a strong sales ability to prospect Turn?s key marketing prospects
Experience selling audience targeting solutions a plus
Strong, current C-level / senior marketing and analytics contacts within auto, financial, insurance, entertainment, telecom, travel etc.
Existing knowledge of DSP space, ad serving, data exchanges or performance advertising is preferred but not a requirement.
Location: San Francisco or New York
