The Director, Field & Channel Marketing has responsibility for leading the team strategy to increase revenues through the development and implementation of marketing plans and programs in North America. This person will lead a team of senior marketing managers, as well as be responsible for directly owning and driving sales programs and integrated marketing campaigns for the Western Region, leveraging corporate campaigns. This position is highly visible and active, and requires tight integration and cooperation with the North American Sales (direct and channel) leadership team. Emphasis is on developing and delivering effective lead generation activities that drive revenue opportunities and ensure marketing and sales alignment. This is an ideal position for a creative, collaborative marketing leader, who is looking for a place to showcase his or her abilities in the rapidly growing mobile market.

Lead the field and channel marketing team in developing and executing marketing plans (strategic and tactical) activities for North America.
Plan and deliver integrated marketing and promotional programs in region utilizing a full range of marketing tools to run effective regional/local events and campaigns.
Create quarterly marketing plans, which include the development of programs, promotions and incentives to meet sales and lead gen goals.
Support product launches on a regional basis.
Forge close relationship with lead qualification team as well as regional sales leads and sales teams.
Execute activities on time and on budget.
Contribute knowledge, skills, and ideas to the marketing team as a whole and ensure a continuous feedback loop between Sales and Marketing.
Ensure that the sales teams have adequate marketing support at events, etc.
Educational Requirements: BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or Communications related field.

Ability to negotiate and work efficiently across a network of stakeholders, both internal and external
Able to give presentations to all levels of the company and agency partners, from staff to Executives
CRM experience with salesforce.com (campaign set up, tracking, reporting.
Ability to use the following applications: Microsoft Outlook and Office (particularly PPT and Excel)
7+ years B2B marketing experience in the technology industry required (information security, or software development tools desired)? mobile a big plus
Experience in integrated, multichannel b2b marketing
Proven leadership and team management experience
Experience in program design, campaign/event planning and execution, telemarketing, direct marketing, online marketing
Ability to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams that include internal and external stakeholders
Extensive background in working with Sales organizations in technology industry
Proven track record in driving revenue growth through marketing support of Sales
Experience supporting both direct and indirect (channel) Sales teams
In-depth knowledge of technology industry, mobile a plus
