What You?ll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for helping Lithium meet its revenue objectives in the Americas by creating unique marketing programs to deliver qualified leads to the sales organization. Working closely with Lithium?s field sales and marketing departments, you will conceive strategies for targeted campaigns, and then execute these campaigns across the Americas. Because Lithium is the leader in an early market with huge potential, you will have the ability to rapidly innovate the approach to demand generation.
Develop an ongoing program of creative campaigns to reach target audiences and generate demand for Lithium?s SaaS solutions; outcome should be a continuous flow of inbound leads into the sales pipeline coming from target accounts and target markets.
Develop nurturing programs for inbound leads that are not yet ready to buy
Coordinate go-to-market programs with Field Marketing peers globally.
Work with Business Development team on partner marketing and joint partner campaigns
Manage an Americas field marketing budget to achieve objectives
Monitor and track results using strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including the knowledge of both traditional and social media monitoring. Leverage reporting and measurement tools on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, and use these insights to modify approach to future campaigns
Bachelor?s degree required, MBA preferred
Minimum of 8 years experience in enterprise marketing including demand generation.
Highly preferable is experience working in enterprise B2B with business decision makers as opposed to IT, and experience in new markets rather than established ones. Software or SaaS experience is a strong plus.
Proven results driving specific demand generation successes in a high-growth environment
Versatility in both leading and doing?this role requires strategic thinking with a creative mindset, and thoughtful execution with a practical approach.
Strong knowledge of social web 2.0 communication methods as well as Salesforce and Marketo.
Excellent interpersonal skills to operate professionally with the sales and marketing teams and executive management, along with vendors, partners, customers, and industry analysts.
Ability to prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Intellectual curiosity coupled with a highly analytical approach in assessing what is working and where to drive improved performance.
Writing and speaking skills should be first-class. No jargon and buzzwords.
Good energy, sense of humor and intent to win.
Will be based in the Lithium - Emeryville office. (Note that Lithium offices will be moving to San Francisco during 2013.)
Travel within North and South America required.
