Job Description
ChannelAdvisor is currently seeking a seasoned and progressive sales leader to lead our global inside sales team. This individual will serve a key role within our sales organization, primarily tasked with overseeing opportunity creation and qualification activities by a team of inside sales representatives and managers, as well as meaningfully contribute to the overall sales team?s strategic direction and management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting plans to senior management, as well as rolling up his/her sleeves and diving into the complexities of our funnel metrics to enhance production and performance.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of inside sales specialists
Drive the right behavior within the team via appropriate motivational techniques
Manage ChannelAdvisor?s funnel process from lead generation through delivery of opportunities to the sales executives
Recruitment, retention, employee development and performance management of entry level sales team
Help drive marketing activities by providing timely and relevant feedback on the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns to the marketing team
Develop and deliver compensation plans for the inside sales organization
Develop appropriate training plans for new employees and facilitate professional development of all team members
Requirements
Very strong analytical skills, ability to dive deep into sales/prospecting data to identify trends and drive efficiencies and best practices
Expert level with Excel and Salesforce.com, Marketo experience a plus
Experience working with an inside sales team in a high growth B2B environment, preferably within SaaS (software as a service); experience working within ecommerce a huge plus
Highly effective organizational and multi-tasking skills
Energetic, professional, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills and innate ability to motivate and inspire others to perform at the highest levels
Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
