In order to reach our goals, we?re looking to hire a Director of Sales Processes and Tools reporting to the Head of Sales Operations. The Director of Sales Processes and Tools be an integral part of LivingSocial?s sales leadership team, creating a world class sales organization by developing world class sales processes, developing programs to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness and ensure that our sales teams are properly equipped with the systems, tools and reporting to enable them for success. It?s a big job ? but it?s a vital one to LivingSocial and its future.

Sales Process & Optimization- Foster an organization of continuous process improvement for our sales team by looking to uncover areas of inefficiency and recommend and drive solutions to increase sales productivity and overall effectiveness. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales effectiveness and efficiency (reduce COS, improve conversion rates, improve revenue per deal metrics)
Lead Optimization - Develop deep understanding of our various lead sources, opportunity creation criteria and sales engagement models to aggressively generate and convert leads/opportunities as effectively as possible. Develop criteria to assign value and prioritize our leads/opportunities. Always looking for ways to increase contact rates and conversion rates for our most valuable leads/opportunities.
Systems & Tools ? Drive successful deployment and adoption of our CRM tool (Salesforce.com) for the sales organization, ensure data accuracy & completeness and work with the CRM administrators to enhance and optimize CRM utilization. Identify sales efficiency and capability gaps and work to solve those gaps via technology enhancements. Examples include: Improved telephony solutions; better sales training and selling tools; pipeline management and forecasting capabilities; sales data visualization and reporting suite etc..
Sales Programs: Oversee and administer all change management initiatives w/in the sales organization. Ensure that the sales force is properly engaged, informed for all changes that impact them. Ensure tools, compensation programs and training programs are all aligned and updated to accommodate the changes w/in the sales organization.
Reporting ? Develop full reporting suite to ensure that our sales leadership team can effectively monitor sales performance across all roles and geographies and make quick effective decisions to increase performance. Ensure that as much of our reporting becomes standard productionalized reporting vs. manual data pulls and develop a robust ad hoc reporting process to handle non-productionalized requests.

Bachelor?s Degree, plus minimum of 8 years experience with proven results in creating and implementing a strategy to support sales channel development. Must have experience in sales or sales support and understand the motivating factors in a sales environment.
Demonstrated experience launching products.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
CRM experience, SFDC is strongly preferred.
Must have strong written communications skills, high motivation, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible, and adaptable to new situations
Think strategically in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing to meet deadlines
