We are a progressive, established company looking for a Director, HIM Consulting who will share our vision of the HIM community of the future. The Director, HIM Consulting reports directly to the Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and will lead the consulting division, driving departmental turnarounds as well as interim management engagements. The Precyse DHIM Consulting team consists of more than 30 colleagues located across 18 states.

In this role you will:
Hire and continually develop a team of HIM Consultants with extensive HIM expertise in order to drive growth of the business.
Proactively train, educate and mentor traveling consultants to ensure they are providing superior customer service to the clients while meeting all expectations and goals of the assignment.
Partnering strategically with the Sales team to grow the client base while meeting and exceeding the revenue goals.
Create and develop specific scope of services and project plans for all HIM related Consulting engagements.
Create new programs and standardized approach in HIM Consulting for centralizing HIM functions in a multi facility environment, workflow redesign and EHR related consulting engagements.
Conduct operations analyses and prepares report findings. Ensure these reports are completed correctly by the HIM Consultants.
Conduct TJC preparedness surveys and prepares report findings.
Conduct DNFB management assignments and weekly report findings.
Orient new consultants which includes instruction regarding HIM Consulting and Interim management assignments, suggestions, coaching, mentor in preparation of operations analysis reports, DNFB Management, TJC Preparation, Weekly Reports, etc.
Actively participate in speaking engagements at local, state and national association meetings.
Requirements
Required experience includes a minimum of 15 years of HIM consulting experience including managing a group of consultants.
Active RHIA credential.
Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management. Master's Degree preferred.
Travel up to 75% nationwide.
