Overview:We are currently seeking a dynamic Infrastructure Director who will plan, support and optimize network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications and telecommunications.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of enterprise IT infrastructure, data center operations, servers, and storage, including Windows physical and virtual systems.
Mentors and leads direct reports to facilitate career growth
Initiates, plans, organizes and executes projects in a timely manner
All LAN, WAN and telecommunications infrastructure
SQL and Windows Servers, storage area management (DAS, NAS and SAN and other core components.
Maintain security stance and improve overall posture
Management and negotiation with designated vendors (carriers and other)
Overall coordination of the Network systems and related technological support functions of the company
Coordinates with appropriate IT groups, Administrative Departments, and outside vendors concerning resolution of high level technology issues.
Suggests solutions to technology infrastructure issues presented by management and staff in determining requirements and managing solution to meet those requirements within the parameters set by the company
Ongoing hardware refresh and customization projects to keep pace with the company?s evolving technology requirements.
Suggests and researches methods of resolution for escalated helpdesk and incident reports, and suggests infrastructure improvement to remedy issues;
Writes proposals, policies, and procedures concerning same, for procurement of and coordination of purchases and leases for equipment and software licensing, ensuring cost effective utilization of same.
Ensuring proper operational monitoring is in place to provide for continued operation
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers with a focus on building customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
5 plus years experience in Infrastructure management including some or all of the following: VMware, Citrix,Windows servers, SAN technology.
3 plus years network management including some or all of the following: firewalls, Solarwinds, IPS, Routers, Switch, Wireless
3 plus years telecommunications management including some or all of the following: Avaya communications manager, voicemail systems, CMS, Call Recording
Experience in Disaster Recovery development, planning, testing and execution
