Director, Inside Sales Carnegie Learning
Responsibilities
Manages and directs an inside sales team to achieve order, sales and profit goals. Sets short and long-term sales strategies to achieve goals.
Recommends and executes sales strategies based on best outcome for business.
. Work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents to create an aligned sales strategy.
. Meets regularly with the Vice President of Sales to review progress against team goals and provide updates order status/customer issues.
Negotiates with customers on pricing, terms, and conditions to optimize results (seeks approvals where necessary).
Handle all matters of staffing, employee development and departmental budget management.
Experience
7+ Years knowledge and understanding of sales.
. 5+ years of direct management experience.
Bachelor?s Degree using area of specialty
Understanding of technical and non technical documents as it relates to the sales of and contracts for the company?s products.
Assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting sales.
Additional skills required for managing sales, such as planning, organizing communicating and directing.
