We are seeking a Director of Inside Sales to lead a team of dynamic Sales Professionals and Account Development Representatives to evangelize our solutions across North America. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for leading a team in meeting new business quota attainment. The Director of Inside Sales is expected to conduct daily and weekly one-on-one and team-wide reviews, training sessions and meetings to ensure ongoing improvement, best practices sharing and execution of sales plans. The Director will be responsible for motivating and leading the teams, working closely with marketing on lead generation campaigns, and ensuring that Salesforce.com is well maintained. Candidates should have 3+ years of Inside Sales 2.0 experience, be an expert in best practices, have experience at targeting new verticals and be knowledgeable in Salesforce.com and Marketo.
Recruit, train, manage and motivate Inside Sales and Account Development Reps
Assist sales reps in uncovering need, proposals, solution reviews, negotiating and closing deals while guiding them through the complexities of the buying cycles of local and state government.
Testing and solidifying a value proposition that generates high quality leads and converts them to customers
Provide timely and accurate business forecasts to sales and executive management
Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Work closely with Marketing for on demand generation and messaging, as well as lead scoring and conversion
Work closely with Finance and Sales Engineering for compliance on proposals and quotes
Building out and refining the systems and tools that will lead to an efficient sales process
Work closely with SFDC.com admin team to improve workflow process and reporting
3+ years of demonstrated exceptional success in managing sales teams
Proven experience in selling SaaS solutions
Proven experience in selling solution for and to government
Demonstrated success in improving process oriented workflows
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a sales team
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing startup environment
Proficient with SFDC.com, Marketo, and Microsoft Office products
Ability to accomplish projects with minimal supervision
