In this role, the Director of IT Operations will collaborate very closely with multiple functions within the enterprise to build and maintain a scalable, reliable IT infrastructure. The Director of IT Operations will be immediately recognizable as a leader, possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of executives and constituencies.
Ensure availability of Cardlytics production systems based on SLA agreements with internal and external clients.
Maintain integrity of Cardlytics data including databases, documents and custom software.
Predict volume of systems growth in relation to client volume and conduct strategic planning of infrastructure needs accordingly.
Assure security and protection of Cardlytics systems from external and internal intrusions. Develop processes and procedures consistent with compliance requirements such as SAS 70.
Provide technical advice and guidance to internal and external clients.
Define and manage projects to improve the IT infrastructure of the organization.
Display strong understanding of the organization?s business strategies and apply knowledge to all IT Operations activities.
Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations.
Manage and size the IT Operations team as needed to support client growth.
Monitor all Cardlytics systems (production, corporate and client hosted systems), report and escalate failures.
Manage all internal Cardlytics desktop support needs and meet internal clients expectations. Utilize reporting and data to track progress and report results to management.
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent IT Operations work experience.
10-12 years? experience in IT Operations roles; 5-7 years management experience.
Be familiar with MS SQL 2008/2012, IIS and .NET technologies. Familiar with networking software and hardware as well as storage solutions.
Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the development and/or infrastructure project lifecycle (e.g., design, development, testing, implementation, etc.).
Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas.
Well-developed negotiation skills.
Ability to build consensus.
Detail and big picture orientation.
Organization and time management skills: Operates independently with minimal guidance by management.
Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Extensive experience in meeting planning, facilitation, and public speaking.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Professional certifications as appropriate.
Knowledge of current trends in the specific field.
Familiarity with support and troubleshooting of personal computers.
Experience working in the Information Technology, Financial industries, or consulting.
Experience developing process controls for venture companies. Entrepreneurial spirit.
Experience in Data Warehouse management.
Project management and IT infrastructure methodologies: PMP, ITIL, and Six Sigma.
