We are searching for a Director of Lead Generation for a late stage, very high growth and successful Technology company that is the leader in cloud based business communications, with top tier funding from Sequoia, Khosla and Cisco systems. Located in San Mateo, CA, the company has received numerous industry awards including ?Technology Pioneer of 2010?, PC Magazine, and many more. The company is ramping its marketing efforts to leverage the tremendous growth in mobility, and this is a great and exciting time to join their team.
This position will be responsible for build our client?s Lead Generation function to deliver top quality leads of small and medium sized businesses to the sales organization. The position will lead and build out the key team responsible for going up market (closing larger accounts), and be responsible for the following areas:
Expand traditional lead gen vehicles such as Prequalified leads and email lists
Grow webinars, whitepapers, demos, and other interactive web tools
Develop and install lead gen forms tied with content and other prospect resources
Manage automated prospect scoring and activity
Develop trial programs to get larger accounts to try our client?s products with effective follow-up by sales
Manage effective follow-up processes with Marketing Operations and Sales
Work extremely closely with the sales team to ramp these efforts
This position reports to the CMO and will have several direct reports
Note: This role is a classic B-B Lead Gen role. It is not responsible for e-commerce driven channels such as SEM, SEO, and Affiliates.
Direct experience managing B:B lead gen at a high growth company
Experience running and building multiple forms of lead gen programs from email to webinars, to highly qualified leads and others
Experience working with both Marketo and Salesforce programs
Strength in developing quantitative program analysis
Experience working with providers of lead gen programs
Revenue responsibilities in managing these programs/lead gen channel
Direct experience working with sales organizations
