Five9 is seeking a Director of Marketing Communications reporting to the VP of Online Marketing and acting as the primary owner for Public Relations, Analyst Relations and corporate communications. The ideal candidate for the Director of Marketing Communications will have 5+ years of experience with enterprise software or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of Five9?s public relations activities, including daily management of our external PR agency, and outreach to journalists and news organizations.
Coordinate Five9?s analyst relations. Work with internal teams to develop key messaging and manage ongoing communication to analyst firms.
Develop and manage Five9?s Social Media Program and Social Media Policy.
Create and manage blogging strategy for Five9.
Develop and maintain Five9 corporate positioning and messaging.
Collaborate with Sales and Product Marketing to create customer reference program. Identify key customers for case studies, speaking opportunities, and press/analyst interviews.
Minimum qualifications
5+ years Marketing Communications Experience.
Experience managing the Public Relations function for previous organizations.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Willingness to work out of the San Ramon, CA office on a daily basis.
Recommended ? but Not Required
Experience in the contact center industry.
Other
Position is full-time M-F based in the San Ramon, CA office.
