Role Description
The Director, Marketing Operations will oversee the marketing automation process including lead management, nurturing, scoring, and distribution.
Specifically role will manage the development and enhancement of the prospect and client databases using the marketing automation system, including the execution and tracking of the lead nurturing programs and processes plus providing marketing automation training to the marketing, sales and client delivery teams, as needed.
This position will also play a key role in sales enablement by executing scalable programs for sales communication and training. This person will also own and have the responsibility of managing the Total Addressable Market (TAM) database for solutions marketing and sales including frequent updates, monitoring up and coming companies, tracking fast growing company lists and researching and updating TAM figures in the system in conjunction with the marketing development team.
This position is the central owner of sales & marketing research tools and give recommendations of the tools needed to gather sales and market intelligence as well as train sales and marketing end users.
This role works with the corporate marketing team to develop campaign metrics, lead capture rates and offer testing on the website and manages the relationship with our SEO agency. The metrics and results will be communicated to sales and marketing representatives via regular meetings.
This role represents marketing regarding SFDC and interacts with the Sales Operations team regarding rules of engagement, CRM content and chatter.
And finally, the role will define and implement our strategy for overall marketing analytics, ROI, marketing mix, budget optimization and dashboards/reports. This position has a broad scope and offers the ability to make a significant impact to overall company performance.

Responsibilities
Track ROI of marketing activities (leads, awareness, client touch points, sales training, etc.) to ensure effectiveness and continued investment.
Provide leadership in the use of marketing automation. Be a ?power user? and go to person for the rest of the company.
Develop and implement strategy for ongoing control, maintenance and enhancement of existing marketing database (Eloqua): process, standards, access control, documentation, etc.
Ensure accurate synchronization between Eloqua and Salesforce.com databases.
Work with Sales Operations to ensure Salesforce.com meets the needs of the Marketing Dept. as well as the Sales Dept.
Segment and leverage the Marketing Database for greater campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
Define business analytics and create dashboards and reports to measure all aspects of our business: database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution, overall business performance.
Provide leadership in defining, mapping and documenting key marketing processes.
Work closely with the leadership team, regional sales leaders and field organization to develop sales communication programs to reach sales team throughout the world.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Solution Marketing to develop ongoing training, to include new hire onboarding, product and solution refreshers, and outselling the competition. These programs aim to produce highly effective sales staff and constantly address changing customer challenges and the changing competitive landscape.
Qualifications
5+ years marketing experience in the technology industry
Knowledge of and exposure to Product Marketing, Lead Generation, Marketing Communications, Events, Sales Trainings, Seminars
Advanced user of Salesforce.com
Advanced user of Eloqua a plus
Deep expertise and experience in B2B marketing
Experience in software or high-tech marketing is a definite plus
Strong background in data analysis
Understanding of data mining, data warehousing, business intelligence and lead management processes and technologies
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation as well as sales training
Innovative, motivated, organized, high energy team player
Process and quality orientation with attention to detail
Ability to manage a budget
Undergraduate degree in business, statistics, mathematics or a related field
