Role Definition

This position is responsible for establishing, managing and driving tangible business value through our strategic partner, Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage cross-company efforts to maximize value
• Establish new strategic alliances within Microsoft as needed to meet our overall sales, marketing and engineering objectives
• Understand Parallels product capabilities and effectively communicate benefits and opportunities
• Ability to create joint value propositions
• Coordinate project teams involving multiple internal and external stakeholders to lead to tangible results
• Deliver on initiative revenue and design win commitments
• Engage with Parallels and Microsoft WW and Field teams to drive joint ROBs
• Build visibility of Parallels solutions leveraging PR and joint marketing campaigns
• Prioritize initiatives with our by creating and executing detailed Partner Business Plans or PSPs

Qualifications

• BA/BS with MBA from top-tier school
• 10+ years experience establishing and growing business relationships with very large and complex software companies
• Experience working with Microsoft Field and WW teams in an alliance or initiative role
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to define opportunities in an ambiguous environment
• Proven ability to close opportunities, manage multiple projects and negotiate effectively
• Excellent work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast moving environment
