Director, Mobile Outbrain

Outbrain is looking for a Director, Mobile based from our New York office responsible for leading the mobile recommendation business. Duties will include both selling new publishers on Outbrains mobile recommendation solution and up selling Outbrains current publisher base to adopt Outbrains mobile products. The candidate must be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about mobile and the vast opportunities that lie ahead for the medium. The Director, Mobile must be a team player effectively liaising with existing sales, product, development and account management teams. Past experience selling mobile solutions and/or selling mobile technologies to digital publishers is favorable.

Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed quarterly distribution and revenue goals.
Secure strategic level relationships with mobile owners at digital publishers.
Liaise with exiting sales, account management and product teams to up-sell the current client base into mobile.
Passion for superior account management.

Qualifications:

Think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally. Possess a strong desire to win and a competitive drive to overcome hurdles and objections.

3+ years of digital sales experience, mobile a plus.
Demonstrates deep understanding for how mobile on the Internet works.
Understands the mobile landscape, sales process, measurement and existing and upcoming technologies.
