Director of Ad Sales RMG Networks
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Sales ? Mid Atlantic, Southeast
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and maintaining top level client agency strategy and digital planning/buying relationships for top advertiser prospects in the Mid Atlantic/Southeast region in order to deliver on aggressive revenue targets for RMG's Executive Media Networks: RMG Airline and/or RMG Office media.
? Reports to: Regional Vice President of Sales
? Interrelationships: Internal: All levels of employees at RMG Networks. External: Key Clients and Agencies
? Achieve aggressive individual sales goals across RMG's suite of Digital Executive media offerings.
? Develop thorough account strategies, as well as devise and achieve revenue forecasts for the Director's assigned territory
? Meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals (revenue and meetings).
? Effectively communicate the value of RMG Networks offerings to new prospects and existing customers via a consultative sales approach
? Successfully and professionally manage relationships with RMGs biggest agencies and advertisers, providing high-touch, solutions-oriented service.
? Propose and design integrated "big idea" media solutions to meet client's goals
? Provide consultative guidance to prospects on how to best leverage our assets to drive bigger and more comprehensive, holistic deals for RMG that leverage several of our solutions in an integrated fashion.
? Possess, build, and cultivate strong client and high level agency strategy relationships for RMG.
? Monitor campaign performance to ensure a high degree of executional excellence.
? Ensure that our clients consistently receive the highest level of service with a focus on professionalism, responsiveness and via high quality ideas/solutions, proposals and responses to RFPs.
? Work with Regional Vice President to negotiate pricing and deal terms.
Experience and Skills:
? Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
? Masters degree/MBA preferred
? 5+ years advertising sales experience in digital, digital video or digital OOH sales with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and outperforming revenue goals.
? Proven success working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, with excellent time-management and prioritization skills; ability and eagerness to work well independently will make this candidate a success at RMG.
? Deep understanding of the business and marketing challenges facing advertisers and an ability to convert that knowledge into a consultative selling approach to drive revenue for RMG Networks.
? Deep contacts and relationships within advertisers and clients in the Mid Atlantic/Southeast region, ideally at high levels with clients, agency strategy teams and with digital planning/buying teams.
? Ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline that consistently meets and exceeds goals.
? Must be creative, smart, and passionate, as well as a problem-solver and a team player.
? Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit & is driven to achieve sales goals.
? Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Outlook and effective in building presentations that sell a story/proposal in PPT with minimal guidance/input or support.
? Willingness to travel when needed, ideally with high level client and agency contacts in other Mid Atlantic/Southeast regions as well as a solid understanding of the media landscape in those markets that can be leveraged for success.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
