We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Assay Development. (Job Code 92 CL)Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for the design, screening and optimization of novel assays, expanding the capabilities of core technologies, and management of the Assay Development group. Individual will lead the team in the resolution of technical problems associated with production of reagents, issues with assay performance, or analysis of outside trail data. Serve as Program Manager for new assay development projects.
Job Requirements
Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Biological Sciences.
10+ years in the successful development of biochemical/biological assays and transfer of products to manufacturing within a GMP/ISO environment.
Scientific approach to developing working assays for diagnostic equipment.
Diagnostic Product Development: a strong understanding of the interaction between cellular diagnostic devices and biological reactions at a system level.
Experience with Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP?s, Quality System Regulations in an FDA regulated environment.
Ability to define protocols and participate in execution of product and process validations, pre-Clinical and Clinical Trials.
