We are seeking an experienced Director of Attorney Resources to join our Attorney Services team. The main function for this role is to oversee the recruitment, training and management of a large and growing network of attorneys who work with LegalZoom in various capacities.What you?ll do:
Overall responsibility for the recruiting, training, and management of all attorneys and law firms who work with LegalZoom customers. This includes attorneys and law firms who:
are providers for the LegalZoom legal plans
are listed in the LegalZoom Local Attorney Directory
are purchasers of attorney leads from LegalZoom in areas like Divorce and Bankruptcy
Personally work with the managing partners of law firms who provide for the LegalZoom legal plans to maintain and advance the relationship between the firms and LegalZoom
Supervise employees who recruit and train attorneys who work with LegalZoom
Work closely with the LegalZoom Attorney Services product and operations teams to develop innovative solutions for LegalZoom customers? legal needs
Provide input and data on strategic opportunities and the direction of the Attorney Services division
Qualifications:
BS or BA required, Graduate Degree (JD or MBA) preferred
5-7 years of work experience in working with attorneys, either as an attorney themselves or as part of an organization that employs or works with a large number of attorneys
Ideal experience would include a mid-sized law firm, state bar referral agencies, pre-paid legal plans and legal insurance, attorney lead generation companies and attorney directories.
The candidate needs to be familiar with the operations and business practices of solo practitioners and small to mid-sized law firms
Process development and implementation
Knowledge of the consumer legal landscape
Knowledge of law firm operations at the small to mid-sized firm level
