The Director of Business Development, reporting to the CEO, will be responsible for developing long term relationships between Intronis and strategic accounts. You will identify and develop new opportunities that will position the company for future growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in identifying leads and closing new business that will position Intronis as a primary or preferred partner for all Cloud Backup and Recovery services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and assess new business for the company's existing and future products.
Develop business plans that demonstrate alignment with our long term strategy, this may include strategic alliances and R&D collaborations.
Provide information such as forecasts and competitive activity.
Maintain and enhance technical knowledge on company products that will enable you to align business strategies with prospective customers.
Establish strategic relationships with industry leaders.
Requirements:
A Bachelor?s degree with 10+ years of experience in SaaS or Backup product sales and selling to major accounts.
Good understanding of contract negotiation and administration.
Must have good organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
Organized and self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology.
Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
Able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
