Director of Business Development Mobeam
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for sourcing, closing, and managing strategic partnerships that align with the core growth strategy of Mobeam, Inc. Such deals/partnerships will focus mainly on sourcing unique content partners (such as retailers, brands, CPGs, and content distributors), licensing software to them, and enabling their mobile applications.
Prospect, analyze, & help negotiate new business opportunities, and source retailer, brand & CPG content for our mobile app. Communicate the company?s value proposition clearly and effectively to potential & existing partners.
Create partnership & internal presentations, create benchmarks & metrics, analyze partner & company performance metrics, perform industry & competitive analyses, and work closely with cross-functional teams across management, product, technology, operations, and finance.
Manage complete sales cycle process from identifying to closing new partner relationships.
Maintain a strong partnership pipeline.
At least 5+ Years of related Sales/Business Development experience.
Bachelor?s Degree is required. MBA is nice but not required, as long as candidate demonstrates relevant experience and strong business & analytical skillsets.
Must possess exceptional passion, drive, and desire to succeed: we are looking for the person who will go for 50 miles, even when (s)he is only asked to go for 10.
Proven track record of sourcing and closing contracts focused on the technology space.
Experience successfully executing complex sales cycles with key decision makers.
Strong team player that also excels as a high-performing individual performer/contributor.
Must have strong knowledge of the mobile app ecosystem and business.
CPG or Retail industry experience is preferred (or knowledge of those industries).
