Covario?s Business Development team is looking for a senior-level sales professional, based on the west coast, with an extensive background in digital marketing, a proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to seek new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities for Covario?s search agency services
Own the business development process from lead to deal closure
Own the sales process ? coordination of internal resources, facilitate meetings, development of presentation materials, development of proposals, and define strategy to bring deal to closure
Own meeting process ? define roles, delegate responsibilities, define agenda, control meeting
Ability to articulate client decisions and signature process
Build pipeline and accurately forecast new business
Ability to travel throughout US
Qualifications:
7-10+ years business development experience
Understanding of search marketing and the internet
Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams in a strategic and professional manner
Experience working as a virtual employee
Ability to ask questions, listen, and follow-up
Professional demeanor and desire to win in a very competitive industry
Knowledge of Salesforce.com ?s CRM tool
B.S or B.A. degree required
