Director of Business Development Five9
Five9 is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Business Development to join our growing team. This individual must demonstrate the ability to function as a strategic thinker, with the capacity to operate within the highest levels of an organization, building and maintaining business relationships that will ultimately drive sales leads and revenue. The successful candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the key operational and technical components of the successful modern contact center, with a clear understanding of the roles that telephony, CRM, WFM, QA and analytics play in smooth operation of the contact center environment. Establish and maintain critical relationships within the assigned partner corporations with specific emphasis toward growing that partner business and increasing high quality lead flow to Five9 Sales Directors.
Develop, deliver and execute on a plan which will represent Five9 interests within the assigned partner company to optimize the investment in the partner relationship, ensuring that Five9 is given every opportunity to be the first and best option represented when the partner is in need of the products and services that Five9 provides.
Represent the interests of the assigned partners within Five9 to elevate our partner relationship and build maximum awareness within Five9, ensuring that critical internal organizational resources are marshaled strategically and effectively to demonstrate that Five9 supports the needs of the partners? products and services and sales are facilitated.
Work with Five9 Demand Marketing and partner event planning resources to coordinate a partner event program that ensures partner events are funded, attended and provide maximum amount of high quality leads.
Analyze the competitive landscape, customers, market and business intelligence to aid marketing to drive product and portfolio strategy and influence the product road map; and assist in the building of business cases for new products/markets.
Evangelize Five9 to analysts, press, customers and partners at events, shows and webinars and other speaking opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
7-10 years of experience in sales, channel marketing or business development within a contact center related business; i.e. support of a contact center organization, BPO, CRM or other contact center solution component software company.
A demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and grow business relationships successfully, with an emphasis on sales and partner processes.
Strong strategic thinking with a bias for action and results, project management and creative problem solving skills
Exceptional communications skills, with a proven capability for public speaking, professional writing and active listening.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams towards an effective goal.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
