Director of Carrier Sales Power Cloud Systems
PowerCloud? Systems, a leader and industry pioneer for cloud-powered wireless networking, is
actively seeking a Director of Carrier Sales to win new accounts with telecommunication service
providers and generate revenue in the rapidly growing networking-as-a-service market. The ideal
candidate is a driven sales professional with a proven record of multi-year revenue growth selling
software, networking products, systems and services to carriers. This position currently reports to
the CEO and is located in the Bay Area.
The Skydog? Unified Service Platform is a cloud-powered networking solution that provides
consumers with an unprecedented level of home networking functionality that can be monetized
on-demand by service providersthroughoutthe entire life of the customer. Skydog was recently
introduced to consumers as a cloud-managed router + mobile app via a successful Kickstarter
campaign, validating the appeal for the extended feature set that the platform offers.
The Skydog platform extends beyond consumer applications to enable a scalable large scale Wi-Fi
infrastructure for business use, and for public access and 3G/LTE offloading with little cost and
complexity, making it affordable for any size carrier.
Founded in 2008, PowerCloud is a spinout of the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) based in Palo
Alto, CA. We are funded for dramatic growth by Qualcomm Ventures, PARC (a Xerox Company),
Walden Venture Capital and Javelin Venture Partners.
? Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close smart deals in an aggressive timeframe.
? Consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
? Report on sales activity and forecast to executive management.
? Prepare and deliver exceptional presentations and proposals.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and partnersin the networking and
service provider space.
? Work closely with marketing to ensure successful lead generation campaigns.
? Proven track record of success in selling platformsolutionsto tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 Telco
? At least 7-10 years of strategic selling directly to carrier decision makers.
? Familiarity with software as a service vendor models.
? Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
? Experience reporting to high-level executives
? Impeccable attention to detail, ability to prioritize and a ready-for-action attitude.

? Proven ability to lead, motivate and be creative in a fast-paced, team-oriented,
