Job Description
The Channel Sales team works closely with Paymetric senior management including the Executive Leadership Team and key resources, and Paymetric Account Executives and Account Managers to drive and execute critical new growth and innovation opportunities. The team operates in a highly collaborative fashion across functions, teams and opportunities, along with external customers, prospects and partners, to drive results.
The Director of Channel Sales is responsible for the identification, development, evaluation and analysis, and closing of new innovative business opportunities with both traditional and non-traditional customers and partners operating in and around identified markets leveraging Paymetric's core assets and capabilities. He/She will both lead as well as support key growth opportunities and channel sales projects across domains/technical areas of focus. This includes identification of both new market and product opportunities - both new to Paymetric and/or the market and new ways to deploy or bundle - and identifying new customers, partners and technologies or capabilities that can accelerate Paymetric's product roadmap, deliver new value to our customers, and/or create new value across the value-chain.
Candidate Requirements
A successful candidate must be a dynamic self-starter, with a unique combination of outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills including financial and business modeling, along with a creative and innovative mindset oriented to identifying, developing and closing new solutions with partners. She/He must be highly comfortable managing through significant complexity, both internally and externally, and be interested in working on the leading edge of new solutions and challenging the current thinking, assumptions and status quo to drive break-through results.
--Role requires strong knowledge of, and experience in, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system industry (specifically, experience with SAP, Oracle, Infor, and other similar systems), the payments industry and/or related technology industries; including economics, participants, trends, and regulations.
--5+ years of business experience with 3+ years in the payment or related technology industry.
--2+ years direct channel sales, corporate development, and corporate strategy experience required. Demonstrated experience in new channel sales and 'deals' across opportunity identification, relationship development and management, analysis and evaluation including business case and financial modeling, and execution including negotiations, diligence (as required), execution planning, and execution. Complex service sales experience a plus.
--Must have a breadth of business skills, be extremely self-motivated. Must have the ability to analyze, simplify and convert plans to action. Ability to lead projects.
--Demonstrated experience supporting and executing complex, multifaceted new solutions, innovation and/or strategic projects to drive tangible new growth and business results.
--Knowledge of business models, value propositions, business cases, deals, competitive landscape, and innovation and new product development - especially relating to payments industry. Strong quantitative, strategic and financial analytical skills.
--Outstanding communication skills (including email, PowerPoint/presentation development, and facilitation/meeting management) with ability to communicate at all levels.
--Ability to navigate complex and matrix organizations.
--Must be able to deal with ambiguity, manage through change, and work in a fast-paced environment.
