Director of Client and Partner Marketing Ellie Mae
Summary of Responsibilities:
Ellie Mae is seeking a Director of Client & Partner Marketing who will drive client and partner marketing strategies and programs to drive client retention, loyalty, advocacy, growth and community participation. In this role, you will develop our Client & Partner Marketing strategies, build out the team and establish marketing metrics & reporting to support our client and partner retention, satisfaction, adoption and revenue goals.
You will work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure proper alignment of goals and help drive improvements to overall client experience with Ellie Mae.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives:
Lead Ellie Mae?s Client & Partner Marketing function and manage the development and execution of fully-integrated, multi-channel marketing efforts to further client satisfaction, loyalty and adoption. Areas of responsibility include:
Customer insights. Customer segmentation and analysis.
Customer loyalty. Measure and monitor customer satisfaction measurement and monitoring.
Voice of the customer. Develop deeper relationships with our user community to gain insight into their needs and develop a client feedback mechanism to ensure the voice of the client is being heard and programs are in place based on the feedback.
Customer References and customer advocacy. Actively seek out client evangelists and manage the development of sales tools, case studies, videos, and campaigns to highlight their successes
Customer & partner community. Develop, nurture and monitor a thriving customer community through on line channels, social media, and regional user groups.
Customer & Partner Events. Working with events staff, drive content and strategy for key customer and partner events including the annual user conference - Encompass Experience - and quarterly Executive Advisory Board meetings.
Client & Partner Communications. Design and execute communications plans and vehicles to keep customers and partners informed and engaged.
Campaign Development. Develop strategy and campaigns, in conjunction with Demand Generation and Creative Services teams, designed to increase revenues (cross-sell and upsell campaigns) and move clients to latest versions of our software.
Partner Program Development & Management. Define Partner Marketing Program and Communications Plan to engage and educate partners; develop co-marketing plan(s) with key partners that drive incremental revenues.
Project management of campaigns. Oversee execution of all customer & partner campaigns to ensure flawless execution in a timely manner.
Measurement. Track the impact of customer and partner marketing activities on growth and retention, the customer lifecycle and financial outcomes.
Qualifications, Skills & Education:
BA/BS in Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience required, MBA desired
Minimum 10+ years marketing experience
Direct staff management experience required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Client/Customer Marketing for B2B software or technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results
Experience in developing and managing partner marketing programs.
Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
Experience working with writers, creative services, external agencies, consultants, research firms and third party resources, defining and driving marketing projects ? such as acquisition, adoption and retention programs; online campaigns; web content and collateral development; direct marketing programs; print and online advertising; incentive programs; tradeshows; etc.
Must have excellent teamwork, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Exceptional verbal, written communications and presentation skills
Prior success working with mortgage, lending or financial services ? a plus
